Toy Train Operating Museum

From September to May we are open from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. every Sunday except Easter Sunday plus Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day (if they fall on a Sunday).

We are a passionate group of toy train enthusiasts who have amassed an extensive collection of classic and vintage trains of various scales (VIDEO).   In addition to the seven operating layouts inside, we have a garden layout out front, a ride-on train that circles the property and a real caboose you can explore, each on alternate weeks.

NORMAL OPERATING HOURS

The museum is open Sundays, September through May from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M.

The museum will continue to be closed during the hot months of June, July and August for maintenance, curation and new season setup.

The Gadsden Pacific, Tucson’s Toy Train Operating Museum, has a real problem in our caboose! The ghosts of the old caboose crews have begun haunting the old conductors’ condo on wheels. Visit the caboose if you dare!
