A correction to our correction to hours November 9th train show and Musuem opening
Leave a CommentA correction on the hours posted for our November 9th train show and open museum: the train show in the parking lot is from 10:00 to 2:00; the museum opens at 10:00 and closes at its usual time, 4:00. Admission to the train show and sale and to the museum is free. Not all train layout may be in operation during all hours we are open.

Ride with the Little Steam Engine!
Leave a CommentThis Sunday, November 2nd, museum member Brian Scott brings his little 7 1/2” gauge steam engine to pull our ride-on train around the musuem property at the Gadsden Pacific, Tucson’s Toy Train Operating Museum. We’re open Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 at 3975 N. Miller Avenue. Admission is $5.00 for those 16 years of age and up. Aged 15 and under are free!
All aboard for the Annual Train Show and Swap Meet!
Leave a CommentGPD hosts a toy train and collectible show /swap meet each year. The 2025 show is Sunday, November 9th from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. This year the train show continues in the museum parking lot! This year’s show coincides with a free admission day to the museum. The museum opens early at 10:00 A.M. and closes one hour early at 3:00 P.M.
Our train show swap meets are open to the public and feature model and toy trains, prototype railroad memorabilia, collectible toys, cars, figures, etc.
Annual Meeting and Voting Deadline
Leave a CommentThe 2025 Annual meeting will be Friday November 7th. Voting is intended to be in person only. There are two Board of Director positions on the election ballot this year. If there is a reason that a member can not vote in person, then a mail in ballot can be requested. Requests for mail in ballot must be received by the 2nd Vice President by September 15th. The board will review the requests at the Board meeting on September 17th and decide if the requests are approved, or not. Requests for mail in ballots must have a valid reason stated with the request. Approved mail in ballots will be mailed out by September 30th.

September “Run What You Bring” Nights!
Leave a CommentThe museum will be having two “Run What You Bring” nights for members only during September on Wednesday September 10thand September 24th from 6 – 9PM. These members only events give members the opportunity to run their trains on the Museum’s layouts. Bring your favorite model trains and enjoy running them on the layouts and meeting other members.

This members only event has been popular and gives members the opportunity to run their trains on the Museum’s layouts. Bring your favorite model train to run on Wednesday the 27th and enjoy the layouts and meeting other members of the museum.
